Step 1: Open a Brokerage Account
To begin automated options trading with Advanced AutoTrades, you must first receive level 3 approval for a brokerage account from a supported broker. This approval grants access to strategies such as SPY and SPX credit spreads, bull put spreads, and iron condors.
With level 3 approval, you can execute our advanced options strategies that combine multiple contracts into a single position. This approach helps manage both risk and reward more effectively.
If you already have a brokerage account with Interactive Brokers or Tradier, you can skip this section and go directly to Step 2: How to Link Your Brokerage to Global AutoTrading.
If not, please open a new account with one of our supported brokers listed below:
- Interactive Brokers – Best for most clients, if you are US-based with accounts over $25,000.
Open an account by clicking here. - Tradier – Ideal for accounts below $25,000 with its low commission offer for SPY trades.
Open an account by clicking here. - AutoShares – Ideal for beginners who want a quick and easy setup.
→ You don’t need to link AutoShares to Global AutoTrading. Since it includes native automation, your account is ready for trading as soon as it’s funded and allocated.

Step 2: Link Your Brokerage to Global AutoTrading
How do I get started with Global Autotrading? A Step-by-step guide
If you are using AutoShares, you can skip this section and proceed to Step 3: Subscribe to Your Preferred Service
There are 3 parties involved:
- Global AutoTrading: Global AutoTrading is a time-proven autotrading service, but it is not a broker; clients just give Global AutoTrading permission to execute trades in their brokerage account.
- Brokerage: Clients need a brokerage account for Global AutoTrading to execute trades in. Not any brokerage account; it has to be with a broker that works with Global AutoTrading. The current list of brokers is Tradier, Interactive Brokers.
- Advanced AutoTrades: Sometimes called newsletters, signal services, or trading systems, we are the ones providing email alerts that Global AutoTrading converts to orders that are sent to your brokerage account.
What should one do first?
- Please fill out this form and select “I would like to autotrade in my existing brokerage account”. You will receive instructions on how to link your account to Global AutoTrading.
- When your broker account is funded and linked to Global AutoTrading, Global AutoTrading will email you your Global AutoTrading web site credentials, and some instructions.
- Among other things, you will need to fill out some Global AutoTrading forms.
- You will also be able to access Global AutoTrading’s allocation page, where you can select our services, and how much to allocate per trade.
- After you set your allocations, Global AutoTrading will contact us to confirm that you have purchased a valid subscription with us.
- Around the same time as you set your allocation(s) in the step above, you can purchase your subscription to the service you would like us to autotrade. Doing this step last makes sure you don’t pay for a subscription that cannot yet be autotraded.
- Global AutoTrading does not charge anything until autotrading begins.
That’s a lot of steps, but once you go through this, autotrading can start and it should be smooth sailing from there.
Step 3: Subscribe to Your Preferred Service
Choose the service that best fits your investment style. Alternatively, consider combining multiple strategies to create an all-weather portfolio:
- Monthly Trend: A low-risk, high-reward strategy designed to capture steady monthly gains.
- Weekly Trend: Capitalize on short-term market movements each week while keeping risk tightly controlled.
- Weekly Premium: Earn consistent weekly income by collecting options premiums in a defined-risk setup.
- VIP White Glove: Our most advanced strategy, engineered to reduce drawdowns and maximize long-term returns.
Step 4: Set allocation to start Automated Trading
After you set your allocation in AutoShares or Global AutoTrading, the system starts executing trades in your account automatically based on the services you’ve selected.
Below, you’ll find two screenshots that show exactly where to locate our services in the Global AutoTrading newsletter list.
FAQ
What is automated trading and how does it work?
Automated trading connects your brokerage account to a professional signal provider like Advanced AutoTrades. After linking and allocating your account, trades begin executing automatically—no manual orders needed. You stay in control and can cancel at any time.
Do I need a margin account to start automated trading?
Not necessarily. If you’re using the SPX Weekly Trend or Monthly Trend, you can trade using a fully collateralized cash account. For SPY Weekly Trend and Weekly Premium, a margin account is required, especially when trading SPY.
Can I use automated trading with an IRA account?
Yes. Weekly and Monthly Trend are eligible for IRA accounts when using brokers like Interactive Brokers or Tradier. Just make sure your IRA account is approved for credit spread trading. Always double-check with your broker to confirm.
I am outside the US. What is the best solution for me?
If you are situated outside of the United States, the most effective method to automate our services is to establish a low-cost, single-member disregarded LLC in Wyoming.
This type of business entity facilitates the opening of both an Interactive Brokers account and a Global AutoTrading account, thereby allowing you to leverage the automation features.
Registered agents in Wyoming are available to assist you with this process for around $200.
Should you require further information, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Can I use automated trading with a company brokerage account?
Yes, it’s possible to link your company brokerage account from Interactive Brokers (IB) or Tradier to Global AutoTrading and execute trades automatically.
For non-U.S. clients, a simple solution is to set up a low-bureaucracy LLC in Wyoming—which costs around $200. This allows you to open a U.S.-based company brokerage account with Interactive Brokers and access our automated trading services seamlessly.
Is there a risk of assignment with your options trades?
No. We only trade cash-settled SPX options, which eliminates the risk of stock assignment at expiration. In-the-money positions are settled in cash based on the index’s final value.
What is the difference between Interactive Brokers, Tradier, and AutoShares?
Each broker has its strengths depending on your account size, location, and trading needs:
Interactive Brokers is the most regulated and trusted option, making it ideal for larger accounts over $25,000. It’s known for institutional-grade execution and strong global compliance standards—making it the safest choice for serious investors.
Tradier works best for U.S.-based clients with smaller accounts under $25,000. It offers low commissions and integrates easily with our automation setup, especially for SPY strategies.
AutoShares is the go-to choice for international clients. It features native automation, meaning your account is ready for trading as soon as it’s funded—no manual linking required.
How many trades will I have open at once?
We only run one active trade per month for Monthly Trend, one per week for Weekly Premium, and up to six per week for Weekly Trend.
Do I need to monitor the market daily?
Not at all. Once your brokerage is linked and allocated, we manage everything automatically. You get hands-free trading while still benefiting from our expert strategies.
Can I cancel or change my allocation anytime?
Yes. You can update or cancel your allocation anytime using your broker’s autotrading portal or by contacting Global AutoTrading or AutoShares support. There are no lock-ins.
